A biomechanical examination of the inclusion of active flexibility in artistic gymnastic movements requiring mobility

Background and Study Aim. The purpose of the study is a biomechanical examination inclusion active flexibility in artistic gymnastic movements requiring mobility (muscles' ability to stretch), other motor abilities such as force, power, etc.
 Material Methods. included 17 girl gymnasts aged 7-9 years old, with body height 140.7±10.2, weight 34.1±6.4, mass index 17.6±3.0. Data collection was made by using performance tests developed FIG Forward-Backward Split, Side Spit, Arm-Trunk Angle Backward, Trunk Bent Forward, Leg Raise forward, Sideward, Bridge, Standing long Jump, Lift Forward-60secs, Degree Split Position Cartwheel, Arm-Upper Body Backward Bridge Technique. Kinovea 0.8.15 program used data analysis variables study. SPSS 24 software for analysis. Percentages angle degree calculated formula “%= (angle0 functional movement / angle0 flexibility) *100” were found.
 Results. Results indicate that 90% leg raise sideward, split during execution cartwheel, 17.5% bridge technique, completely ratio expressed forward technique. In various elements similar biomechanics, anatomic structure planes, it concluded required around 65-75%.
 Conclusions.. determined functionality rate techniques same anatomical 65-75%. Therefore, execute 100% action (during elements) passively or actively, may significantly increase control, dynamic balance, coordination etc., large range motion.
